THE ROLE

Lead a team and manage a centre(s) to achieve sustained high performance, profitability and quality of delivery, in accordance with business priorities, targets and organisational values and overall responsibility for all financial, reputational and operational aspects for a business unit

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

To take responsibility for:

Provide reception and general administration support within a centre and be the fiirst point of contact for visitors and internal enquiries, showing professionalism & passionin your work attitude and being part of a successful performance driven team.

    IN WORK SUPPORT CONSULTANT

    Location : Ilford /Romford

    THE ROLE

    Offer a range of employment support services for customers and employers to ensure our customers remain sustained employment and we deliver our outcome and sustainability targets.  The office "in work" expert and point of contact for all customers placed into work.  To work with customers professional, high - committed and action- orientated way.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

      Support and coach a caseload of customers once placed into employment to ensure that sustained outcome targets are achieved and access customers particulars circumstances, identifying the appropriate support required and develop a deep understanding of their skills, competencies and potential.

    To take responsibility for:

  • Provide careers advice, guidance and vocational focus, where necessary visit and / or call clients to coach and motivate them to sustain employment
  • Make regular tracking calls to customers, employers and JCP to support verification of Outcome claims
  • Ensure that customers hat have been identified as having fallen out of work are booked a review appointment with EC within 1 day of notification
  • Maintain evidence on caseload management systems for job terminations, recording new employment and periods of on / off benefit
  • Create / update in work action plans, provide regular 1:1 support, coach and support the customer on appropriate behaviours and career progression.

  • Ensure continuity of support for our customers - comprehensive customer details, maintaining up to the minute notes on key meetings, events and plans on our case management database

    • Participate as appropriate in employer and industry groups (such as local chambers of commerce) and employer focused events (such as employment fares)

    • Ensure compliance with MAXIMUS policies and procedures, so as to achieve nil compliance issues from audit
    • Comply with security practice to ensure customer data is always dealt with in a confidential and secure way, and our obligations around this are met
    • Achieve individual and team targets to support the business unit delivering to profitable targets and within budget
    • Provide support for colleagues absence or high customer volumes in your own or other offices
    • Support new joiners through work shadowing, buddying or generally being on hand to answer questions and provide assistance
    • Support employer satisfaction activity
    • Develop/maintain a broad knowledge of the UK benefit system (mandatory or voluntary customers, benefit groups etc) relevant to the Welfare to Work Sector
    • Develop/maintain an in-depth area of knowledge/expertise relevant to your market customer base and support colleagues in this area

    THE ROLE

    To meet job and contract outcome targets through the effective delivery of Employment programmes to include Guidance, Job Search, Job Match and support into employment.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    To deliver employment programmes and manage a caseload of clients on a one to one basis or in groups, in accordance with the schedule agreed with the Business Manager.

    To take responsibility for:

  • Assisting in the recruitment of clients through external links
  • Delivering employment guidance and job search support in accordance with contractual requirements agreed between MAXIMUS and its contractors
  • Delivering all activities to the agreed specification, modules, timetable and hours
  • Working in support of clients, in appropriate ways, including employer liaison, to maximise individual progress and course outcomes
  • Treating all clients with dignity and respect
  • Ensuring all internal and external monitoring requirements and other contractual obligations are carried out in an effective and timely manner
  • Working collaboratively particularly across organisational boundaries and professional groups, such as training organisations or referral agencies

    THE ROLE

    Position and build long term relationships and local contracts of national accounts to establish preferred supplier status and hence exclusive job opportunities. 

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Supports matching of customers to employer vacancies, work placements, manage stakeholder satisfaction.  Liaise with the Employment Coach to ensure training also supports local employer need (sector focused or role focused).

    To take responsibility for:
