Flexible New Deal Success

MAXIMUS Employment and Training announces Flexible New Deal success

MAXIMUS Employment and Training is pleased to announce it has been selected as a preferred bidder for the Department of Work and Pension’s Flexible New Deal (FND) phase 1. The company is therefore on course to be a Prime Contractor of FND across Surrey Sussex and Kent from October, helping customers receiving Job Seekers Allowance for 12 months or more to move off benefits and into sustained jobs.

Supporting more than 200,000 customers a year worldwide and operating in the UK, US, Australia, Canada and Israel, MAXIMUS remains passionate about its focus on helping vulnerable people via an holistic approach to achieve employment and improve their lives.

MAXIMUS Employment and Training, UK commenced operation in August following the acquisition of a successful south west welfare to work provider WTCS Ltd. This early opportunity to expand existing delivery into England’s vibrant South East corner, allows the company to now support customers from the Thames estuary to Lands End and as far north as the West Midlands.

Managing Director, John Gaudry appreciates the challenges involved but is confident in the company’s ability to deliver quality results under the new contract.  “We understand the scale of the task ahead particularly in the uncertain economic climate but are excited by the opportunity to bring our proven integrated model of employment, training and health related solutions to help customers in Surrey Sussex and Kent ” he said.

“ MAXIMUS Employment and Training is committed to working in effective partnership with the Department of Work and Pensions, our delivery partners and other stakeholders and looks forward to finding jobs and changing lives for the many thousands of people eligible for our FND service”.
