MAXIMUS Leads on Job Outcomes

Posted on 22 November 2010

The Department of Work and Pensions yesterday announced the job related outcomes achieved by the providers of employment services under the Flexible New Deal programme.

MAXIMUS UK led the field with a greater proportion of their customer base making it to 13 and 26 weeks of sustained employment than any other provider of the programme.

"I am pleased to see that our passion for finding jobs, changing lives has be borne out by the results" said Managing Director Bob Leach.   "This is the product of a dedicated team, an excellent delivery model, and strong linkages with our community and employers.  My best wishes must also go to each of the job seekers who have embarked on their new career paths."

MAXIMUS is the prime contractor for the flexible new deal in Surrey, Sussex and Kent, and delivers service in conjunction with its subcontractors The Careers Development Group, Tomorrow's People, TBG Learning and Kennedy Scott.  Together, they serve approximately 25,000 customers who have been unemployed for 12 months or more in this programme.
