WELFARE TO WORK BID WRITTERS

Location: Exeter and London (flexible)
Salary: from £30,000 - £35,000 per annum

EMPLOYER ENGAGEMENT CONSULTANT

Location:  DARTFORD
Wage: from £19,000 per annum
Duration : Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Work Pattern: Mon – Fri, 9am to 5pm

Description

The job involves developing and coordinating productive relationships with employers in the area, to increase job opportunities in order to meet job outcome targets.

Key skills required are:
 - Identifying jobs for work ready clients, brokering them with employers, in order to achieve a monthly jobs target
 - Developing links with employers to the benefit of MAXIMUS Employment and Training clients and specifically in terms of increasing job opportunities for clients, and thereby job outcomes
 - Engaging with external agencies, including JCP, in order to be actively involved in Local Employment Partnership strategies
 - Supporting the design, development and delivery of a package of services, including nil cost recruitment, for employers
 - Coordinating opportunities for MAXIMUS Employment and Training and employers to work together to the benefit of both parties, including the running of Employer Forums.
 - Working with delivery staff to build links with local employers and recruitment agencies.
 - Working with delivery staff to respond to specific client employment needs
 - Facilitating local employer and client events to support recruitment and selection
 - Developing and maintaining the local employer database

EMPLOYMENT CONSULTANT

Location:  CHATHAM
Wage: from £19,000 per annum
Duration : Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Work Pattern: Mon – Fri, 9am to 5pm

Description

The job involves helping clients to find and sustain work. You will be asked to manage a caseload of clients, working with them primarily on a 1:1 basis. 

Key skills required are: 
 - Performance focussed and able to work to targets 
 - An ability to facilitate programmes which support personal development
 - Initiative, drive and determination coupled with a proactive approach
 - Commitments to working with clients, helping them find and sustain employment
 - Flexible and creative person with strong interpersonal and communication skills 
 - Commitment to maintaining the highest all round standards of conduct and service
 - Ability to travel within agreed area is essential and a mileage allowance is payable
