Experience and expertise: Joost is an accomplished leader with a proven track record in Commercial, Operational and Strategic leadership across Health & Social Care, Transport and BPO. He has held key leadership positions at organisations such as Acuity Care Group and Serco. His extensive track record in Healthcare across Complex Homecare, Hospital Services and Healthcare BPO services support his interest in impacting the ways of working and service design for Healthcare systems. Joost has significant experience in strategy development, M&A, organisational transformation, growth and leading operational teams through turnaround.
Joost is passionate about placing person-centred, holistic care at the heart of propositions as well as ensuring quality in delivery and robust clinical governance is a key focus for moving toward connected, technology-enabled care eco-systems. Bringing the best innovation from the private sector to the benefit of the public sector and the citizen.
Joost holds an MBA and BA(Hons) Business Administration from University of Newcastle Upon Tyne.
Hobbies and interests: Joost enjoys family life with his wife Jane and their 3 lively boys. In his free time Joost has a keen interest in running, cycling, triathlons and fundraising for charities close to his heart.
