Experience and expertise: Katie is a Public Health Specialist with 20 years of experience spanning NHS clinical practice, public health, and insight‑led service development. Her career includes frontline healthcare, public health nursing, and senior delivery roles, giving her a deep understanding of how evidence, policy, and lived experience translate into effective local services.

In her current role, she leads behavioural insights projects, test‑and‑learn initiatives, and pilot programmes across multiple local authority areas. She collaborates closely with commissioners, operational teams, behavioural science colleagues, and local communities to generate high‑quality insight that informs service design, improvement, and evaluation. Her work is grounded in a commitment to equity, meaningful engagement, and practical deliverability.

Previously, Katie was a Service Development Manager, where she led the design, optimisation, and evaluation of tier‑2 public health services across local authority contracts. Earlier in her career, she held senior roles in public health and specialist education, where she designed and evaluated services for children, families, and underserved communities.

Katie holds a Master’s in Public Health and Behaviour Change and brings an insight‑informed, delivery‑focused approach to improving population health outcomes and reducing health inequalities.

Hobbies and interests: In her spare time, Katie is part of a running club and a social choir, and she has recently taken up Pickle Ball.
