Nyasha Sigauke
Functional Assessor

As one of our Functional Assessors, Nyasha is responsible for carrying out assessments to understand how somebody's disability or health condition affects their daily life. These assessments help the Department for Work and Pensions to make an informed decision about an individual's eligibility for benefits.

Experience and expertise: Nyasha is a registered medical Doctor who previously worked as a Speciality Hospice Doctor within palliative care before joining Maximus. She also has five years of experience working as a Trust Grade Doctor for NHS trusts in London and South East England.

Nyasha is passionate about helping others and is currently studying for a part-time master’s degree in Public Health. The course is enhancing her knowledge of chronic diseases and equipping her with strategies to improve services and interventions for those living with disabilities.

As a member of the MaxCultural board, Nyasha works alongside other colleagues to promote an inclusive work culture that ensures all Maximus employees feel seen, heard and included.

Hobbies and interests: In her spare time, Nyasha enjoys maintaining her fitness through Zumba and tennis. She also likes to support her local community by volunteering at events held by her local church.
