Rachel joined Maximus in September 2024 and is responsible for overseeing and improving the entire customer experience journey, implementing against our plans and priorities while using insights, testing and innovation to create the best possible outcomes for our customers.

Experience and expertise: My qualifications are in social policy, psychology, and leadership. I have more than 35 years of experience in public services (including central and local government), and have dedicated the last decade specifically to design leadership. I have been a graduate member of the British Psychological Society since 2014, and I am also a member of the Design Research Society.

Hobbies and interests: In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends and I am also a PhD Researcher in Service Design with the Open University (Design Group). I also love family history, and arts and crafts (usually badly!).
