Appointed to current role: May 2021
Experience and expertise: I have always been passionate about personal development and growth – for myself and for others. My work is underpinned by an understanding of the psychology of teaching and learning, which I’ve translated into designing, developing, and writing qualifications and sessions that help people achieve their life goals.
I hold a Certificate in Education (2008) and have co-authored the City & Guilds Employability Skills Qualification (5546). I was also part of the IEP trailblazer group as a Curriculum Specialist on the Adult Education Budget contract, co-authoring the Employability Practitioner Level 4 standard.
Between 2018 to 2021, I was Curriculum Specialist at Maximus, writing and integrating qualifications and collaborating with employers to contextualise apprenticeship learning content. Since 2021, I’ve managed coaching teams on the Restart Scheme supporting individuals to return to sustainable employment.
My commitment to holistic development is reflected in my Health Coaching Accreditation (Peak Health Coaching, 2023) and studies in Behavioural Science (2023), which allow me to combine health and employment strategies to support the whole person.
Hobbies and interests: Outside of work, I’m passionate about self-development and have a keen interest in wearing and reproducing vintage clothing from the 1940s and 1950s, blending history with personal style.
Other appointments or memberships: Lifetime Honorary Member of City & Guilds for contributions to Vocational Training and since 2014 I’ve been a member of the IEP.
