Chief Executive Officer, Remploy

Gareth Parry joined Remploy in July 1988 and has since progressed through the organisation in many different roles, culminating in his appointment as Chief Executive in May 2016. His career in the business has helped establish him as one of the UK's leading practitioners in the field of disability and employment, working closely with Government departments on policy and strategy matters.

During Remploy's transiton from public to private ownership in April 2015 Gareth took a leading role in promoting and establishing employee ownership in Remploy. Gareth is now an active participant in the Employee Ownership sector.

With his track record of working in the field of disability, combined with his own experience of mental health issues, Gareth is passionate about improving the lives of disabled people through sustainable employment.

Gareth has a Social Sciences degree from the University of Hertfordshire, specialising in Social Policy.
