We understand that your organisation's Group Income Protection (GIP) can be a timely endeavour. We offer a streamlined approach to support employers and their staff with potential and on-going Group Income Protection cases. We arrange for all cases to be assessed and reviewed by a Consultant Occupational Health Physician. Our physicians conduct regular case conference meetings and/or conference calls with the in-house team and GIP provider to manage these cases closely.
To ensure a straightforward process, our individual case management plans will typically include:
- Current situation and prognosis
- Current fitness for work
- Proposals for rehabilitation programme — options available to support the employee would include counselling, physiotherapy, modified hours and/or duties
- Recommendation for payment of benefits
- Estimated return to work date
- Next case review date
