Appointed to current role: October 2018

Experience and expertise: Beth joined Remploy in 2000 to lead and transform its employability services. She was appointed Chief Executive in 2014, overseeing Remploy’s exit from government ownership in 2015.

Her strong leadership ensured a smooth transition to co-ownership between Maximus and Remploy colleagues, in a newly established Employee Benefit Trust.

Having successfully integrated Remploy into the Maximus business, Beth moved on to lead our Business Development function. In this role, she has established a new strategy for growing and diversifying the UK business.

Beth’s early career was spent in change management roles in the private sector, including retail, catering, utilities and manufacturing organisations. She has a degree in Education from Glasgow University, where she developed a particular interest in special educational needs.

Hobbies and interests: In her spare time Beth loves to travel, potter in the garden, cook and learn new skills. She also enjoys meeting new people at evening classes or weekend workshops.

Other appointments or memberships: Beth previously held the position of Director at Employment Related Services Association (ERSA) and Director for global disability charity, Workability International. She is a former Director and Trustee of internet training charity for disabled people, U Can Do I.T.
