MAXIMUS Invests in UK Health and Wellbeing

Global healthcare services company MAXIMUS has made a major investment in the health and wellbeing market with the acquisition of Revitalised, a leading provider of health technology in the UK.

Revitalised provides digital solutions to help private and public organisations educate, communicate and motivate people to lead a balanced, healthy lifestyle. Offering health, wellbeing, fitness and coaching apps through their bespoke platform, WellbeingZone, Revitalised provides a range of mental and physical wellbeing resources including custom online learning and wellbeing assessments.

Providing health and wellbeing solutions to organisations across the world, Revitalised supports employers in creating a positive, healthy workforce whilst also reducing sickness and absentee costs. Its clients include Employee Assistance Providers, NHS Trusts, local authorities, government departments, police forces, and universities.

MAXIMUS is one of the largest independent occupational health providers for both private and public sector clients. The acquisition will provide new investment to expand into new markets and geographies positioning MAXIMUS at the forefront of the expanding digital market for health and wellbeing.

Leslie Wolfe, General Manager, MAXIMUS UK said:

“Promoting health and wellbeing is at the heart of the MAXIMUS business. The acquisition of Revitalised will strengthen our business and provide investment to help the company reach new markets. Revitalised has some fantastic people who have created a powerful proposition that we see as key to enhancing our existing health and wellbeing services. It’s a natural fit as we both share the same fundamental values of providing high-quality and innovative solutions to our clients.”
