At Maximus, helping people is at the heart of everything we do. Every day, in communities up and down the country, our colleagues help thousands of people to find employment, access support and stay healthy in their workplace or community.

2021 was a year of exciting growth and significant change for us as we built on our successes and launched two new programmes in our Employability Division – the Restart Scheme and the Education, Training and Employment Service (ETE).

Two new businesses, Connect Assist and BeeZee Bodies, also joined Maximus UK, broadening our capabilities in multichannel contact centres and community health and wellbeing.

We welcomed over 1,300 new colleagues, 100 new organisations to our network of community partners and rolled out a business-wide volunteering programme for all our colleagues. We launched six employee-led networking groups as we built on our commitment to improve diversity and inclusion, ensuring our colleagues feel respected, valued and included. We committed to a greener future too, becoming a carbon positive business by 2030 – 20 years ahead of the UK government net zero carbon target.

As we look to the coming year and beyond, we are excited to be moving forward with our new brand which reflects the business we are today and our ambitious plans for the future.
