In-Work Support

The MAXIMUS In-Work Support Team provides expert support to help you retain and develop new employees for up to two years from the first day of work.

Our helpline is staffed by a dedicated team of professionals who support your new employees into long-term employment.

The services we provide to help them transition into work include:

  • Providing guidance and advice on preparing for the first day of work
  • Instilling the importance of being on time and how to deal with workplace problems if they arise
  • Making sure employees have access to reliable transport to and from work
  • Helping employees get the necessary workwear, uniforms or tools
  • Assisting with any documentation, such as Disclosure and Barring Service checks or relevant licenses
  • Counselling employees through any difficult periods in their new jobs
  • Helping employees gain real-world skills such as budgeting, claiming in-work benefits and finding a work-life balance
