Merlin Standard

MAXIMUS People Services and our partners are committed to following the Merlin Standard for supply chain management. We follow Merlin best practice for developing, managing and supporting high-performing supply chains that integrate the public, private, and community and voluntary sectors.

The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) designed the Merlin Standard to help evolve successful, high performing cross-sector supply chains and champion positive behaviours and relationships in the delivery of provision. The Merlin Standard contains four fundamental and integrated principles: Supply Chain Design, Commitment, Conduct and Review.

We believe the sharing of best practice and organisational learning leads to continual improvement, allowing us to understand and leverage ideal supply chain management behaviour to support evolving supply chains and customer needs.

MAXIMUS People Services and our partners apply the four key elements of the Merlin Standard: Supply Chain Design, Commitment, Conduct and Review to measure and review our success in meeting our commitments.

MAXIMUS People Services has been assessed against the standard on three occasions in 2012, 2014 and most recently in 2016 where we achieved 90% - an “excellent” grading score.
