National Careers Service
Expression of Interest 

MAXIMUS People Services, working in partnership with Remploy, is seeking partners for the upcoming National Careers Service. As a partnership, we have extensive experience of providing careers advice and guidance to citizens across the UK, including those with the most complex barriers, but would like to add to this expertise through additional relationships with organisations holding complementary footprint and capability.

The service seeks to offer careers information, advice and guidance to anyone seeking support to progress their career, but will have particular focus on the following priority groups:

  • low skilled adults without a level 2 qualification;
  • people with special educational needs or disabilities;
  • adults aged 18-24 not in education, employment or training;
  • adults unemployed for over 12 months;
  • single parents and;
  • adults aged 50 and over who are unemployed or at demonstrable risk of redundancy.

Expected to commence in October 2018, the service is being procured across nine Geographic Lots, with MAXIMUS seeking partners in the eight listed below:

  • Lot 1 - East of England plus Buckinghamshire
  • Lot 2 - East Midlands and Northamptonshire
  • Lot 4 - North West
  • Lot 5 - London
  • Lot 6 - South East
  • Lot 7 - South West and Oxfordshire
  • Lot 8 - West Midlands including Staffordshire
  • Lot 9 - Yorkshire & Humber

The deadline for return of all EOI’s is 5:00 p.m. Tuesday,
5 December 2017.

As part of the process the commissioner requires all interested organisations to have registered on the ESFA’s Register of Training Organisations. Please note this is a requirement for any organisation delivering mroe than £100,000 of ESFA funded contracts per annum.
