How we make a difference.

Making a difference is more than providing an exceptional service to our clients and customers.

Diversity and inclusion

Our ambitious strategy to improve diversity and inclusion aims to ensure that all colleagues feel respected, valued and included. We are committed to greater representation of minority ethnic, LGBTQ+ and disabled colleagues in senior roles and across our business, guaranteeing we better reflect the communities we serve.

We also launched six employee-led networking groups: MaxWomen, MaxPride, MaxFaith, MaxAbility, MaxCultural, and MaxCarers.

Supporting local communities through volunteering.

Our commitments.

Armed Forces Covenant

As part of our commitment to fair treatment for those who serve, or have served in the armed forces, and their families, we are proud to have signed the Armed Forces Covenant.

Ban The Box

We understand the importance of inclusive recruitment, which is why we support the Ban the Box campaign, reducing the barriers that ex-offenders face when looking to return to work and rebuild their lives.

Disability Confident Leader

As one of the earliest adopters of the UK Government’s Disability Confident scheme, we are committed to creating inclusive workplaces and reducing the disability employment gap.

Carbon Positive 2030

In an effort to play our part in the fight against climate change, we are implementing an ambitious roadmap to become carbon positive by 2030 – 20 years ahead of the UK government’s net zero carbon target.

Living Wage Employer

We are proud to be accredited as a Living Wage Employer, becoming one of the largest government services providers to secure the accreditation. This commitment to fair pay extends to our colleagues, suppliers and partners.

Prompt Payment Code

Across our UK business, we adhere to the Prompt Payment Code and other supply chain accreditations, such as, the Merlin Standard, demonstrating our commitment to treating our supply chain fairly.
