Today, we’re delighted to be officially marking the first anniversary of the Restart Scheme.
Forming part of the Government’s Plan for Jobs, the Restart Scheme provides 12 months of tailored and community-based support for people who are long-term unemployed.
Working in partnership with the Department for Work and Pensions, Job Centre Plus Work Coaches, local partners, employers, and members of our Community Partnership Network, we have been transforming lives across South and West Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and South and East London.
To mark the scheme’s first birthday, Maximus is holding a series of events at our local offices which will provide a fantastic opportunity for guests to meet their local team and find out more about the positive impact the scheme has been having in the local community.
Thank you to all the colleagues, employers and community partners who have worked with us to transform lives over the last 12 months.
