Experience and expertise: Sara joined Maximus in July 2021, and has been focused on integrating social value principles into our corporate culture, operations and community engagement efforts.
In her role, Sara collaborates with cross-functional teams to design and implement social value strategies that align with our corporate objectives and community needs.
Prior to this, Sara worked in the charity sector for more than 10 years, focusing on social integration projects and work experience programmes for young people. She also worked as Area Manager for Lancashire and Yorkshire for The Children’s Society, providing services to support young people and their families to tackling complex needs.
Sara holds a membership for Social Value UK and is driven by the belief that businesses have the power and responsibility to create meaningful and positive impacts on society.
Hobbies and interests: Outside of work, Sara’s days at home revolve around her one-year-old daughter, who keeps her very busy along with lots of dog walks around the Yorkshire countryside.
